AASAI is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, religious, educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of the organization is to initiate, develop, implement and/or assist or support charitable projects of educational, vocational, recreational, cultural, religious, and health service activities in India. The objectives of AASAI will be achieved through direct involvement in volunteering activities and initiating, developing, implementing projects and/or assisting or supporting, providing financial and other resources to existing charitable projects.
AASAI’s objective is to help others, so they can help themselves. Accordingly, AASAI provides resources for non profit organizations towards specific projects which generate income, to be used for pursuit of their charitable activities. |
| The TRUST operates through several service units, as noted above. All services are rendered completely free of cost to the wards. To support these service activities, TRUST has presented specific proposals to AASAI, on an as needed basis, for funding and/or in-kind support. AASAI intends to review these proposals and support the TRUST towards specified causes as approved, after such review and as approved by the AASAI Board. |
